SPIRE 2014 is the 21st edition of the International Symposium on String Processing and Information Retrieval. LA-WEB 2014 is the 9th edition of the Latin American Web Congress. Both conferences will be held in Ouro Preto, Brazil from 20-24 October, 2014. SPIRE will be held in the first three days of the week (20-23 October, 2014), whereas LA-WEB will be held in the last three days of the week (22-24 October, 2014), so that SPIRE and LA-WEB will share joint-sessions on October 22nd, 2014.
